The products were manufactured out of polished stainless steel, which required exacting manufacturing, to ensure that welds weren’t visible, and polishing to provide a uniform “mirror-like” appearance.
Lead French designer for the project, Philippe Starck, combined French inspiration with an essence of youthful fun. Every square inch was maximized through creative use of space.
In one layout space was maximized by cutting out the typical bathroom, and instead, hiding the shower and toilet behind the bed with sliding, mirrored doors.
