Consider us inspired, surprised, and enlightened because our team is still reeling from the experience of exhibiting at BDwest Fair. Known for their experiential take on design and ability to create intimacy in the belly of chaos, BDwest is a boutique show that challenges exhibitors and, above all, brings professionals in the industry together to learn, share, and inspire.
It’s been over a month since the show, but the energy still hasn’t left us. There is so much to see and do, and so many people to connect with, and when you throw in managing your own booth? Craziness. But, the Los Angeles Convention Centre was overflowing with functional and aesthetic designs and the latest innovations, and we just couldn’t get enough.
The hospitality industry is getting inundated with the latest design trends, and everywhere you looked there was colour, glitz, and glam—and we’re talking about more than just the velvet trend. Our biggest takeaway? The hospitality industry is thriving. Every year there are more exhibitors, more attendees, and more creativity, and we’re proud to be a part of the show and, hopefully, an exhibitor that leaves others inspired.
And that was definitely the feedback we were getting from attendees.
After the success of our BDNY booth, featuring acclaimed New York Artist Timothy Goodman, we knew we wanted to collaborate again. Starting with a blank trade show booth and turning it into a work of art gives people something to keep coming back for, and is a truly inspiring sight to behold. Attendees felt the same way, and our team loved watching the booth come to life and seeing people come back over and over again to look in on how the booth was coming together over the two days.
Whether we were meeting people for the first time or connecting with clients we already work with, the show was a huge success both creatively and professionally. Our team was extremely proud to be named as a “Best Exhibit Finalist” and show attendees that our motto, “Your Style, Your Way” is a statement we hold ourselves to every day.
We’d like to say thank-you to everyone who attended, BDwest for putting on such an incredible show, and, of course, Timothy Goodman for creating another show-stealing live mural. Where can you see us next? Our team is already putting their heads together, preparing for BDNY 2018. We’re excited to flip the ship and debut a brand new booth to inspire you!
