It’s no secret—we believe in bringing ideas forward, and there is no better place to inspire the hospitality industry than BDNY. However, this year, we wanted to do more than inspire
creativity. We wanted to engage it.
With a brand new circular booth, viewable from all sides, and designed to inspire BDNY
attendees to stop, engage, and design themselves by coloring, the result was a highly interactive and stress-relieving exhibition that saw a record number of attendees visit our booth. Though we didn’t place this year, the overwhelmingly positive reviews from attendees made this one of our favorite booths yet.

Having people check back to see the evolution of the design from black and white to colour
gave us an amazing opportunity to really connect with people and learn about their business, industry, and outlook. BDNY is all about discovery and education, and this year, more than any other, we were able to engage attendees on a whole new level with a concept that didn’t just invite them to watch but actively invited them to participate.
Engaging Creativity Beyond BDNY
Inspiration comes from everywhere. Books, theatre, people, art, travel. The possibilities are
endless, and at BERMANFALK, we fully believe in stepping outside of our own industry to find creativity. This year, we wanted to share our creative process with a BDNY attendee and
celebrate creativity with a giveaway—and what better way is there (especially in New York) than to send a lucky winner to an award-winning Broadway show?
We couldn’t think of one, so we sent a BDNY attendee (and their plus one) to the Phantom of the Opera! How will we inspire creativity in the future? You’ll just have to stay tuned.
And, That’s a Wrap
